Tate Britain will host the biggest exhibition ever of work by the influential photographer, Eadweard Muybridge ( that's the right spelling - he wanted the Saxon Version ).
He's the guy who developed stop motion photographic techniques that break an image down into parts to show movement - an abridged version of his life story and show details is here - and it's pretty weird stuff. The show opens on September 8th.
There is a link here to a page of animated youtube movies of his work.
