Hi, I'm David and I manage the Hastings Pier Shop at 34 White Rock, on the seafront opposite the old ice rink. The Pier Shop is the outlet and info centre for the Hastings Pier and White Rock Trust who are heading the project to save the pier and regenerate the White Rock area. The shop sells locally made clothes, hats, bags, cards and gifts; mainly with a Hastings and Pier theme; and some good second hand and vintage clothes, ceramics and jewellery. The shop is also available to hire for art exhibitions, music groups etc.
The shop is reliant upon a wonderful and dedicated team of volunteers without whom it would not be able to open, and we need more volunteers! It is an inspiring and stimulating place to work for anyone interested in Hastings Pier, local history, community regeneration, local arts and fashion. We need people with all sorts of skills.
