D&AD / Metro

I was in London yesterday and there was a large and very interesting article in the Metro Freesheet about the D&AD awards - it included the story of how student Sandra Zahirovic ( above ) was able to turn her entry into a real piece of work. Orion were so impressed with her concept and submission that they invited her into the company to recreate her work 'for real' and the resulting series of books have won great acclaim.
