Future Map

Future Map, the annual survey show from the University of Arts London, opened yesterday at Zabludowicz Collection in London’s Chalk Farm.

MA Industrial Design Central St Martins MA Industrial Design student Alice Gallarate has transformed lottery tickets to encorporate the idea of crossing your fingers. She says, ‘I believe creativity originates from provocative thinking and makes the difference in how individuals experience the everyday.’

The show is compiled by a team of judges - this year 20 Hoxton Square Projects gallery founder Alexander Dellal, Grazia style director Paula Reed, visual arts editor for Time Out London Ossian Ward and associate director of international programmes for the Emirates Sharjah Art Foundation Judith Greer - who sieve though projects from all the graduate and postgraduate courses in art, design, fashion and communications to chose works that they best feel represent the next generation of creativity.

Future Map runs from 13 January – 6 February 2011 at Zabludowicz Collection, 176 Prince of Wales Road, London NW5.
