Trip to British Museum

The Stade Education Project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund has organised for a 33 seater Rambler coach to travel from Hastings Old Town to the British Museum in London (return) on Tuesday 15th March 2011

The trip is primarily for Stade Education Project Volunteer Guides to take part in a private tour from 2pm to 3.30pm of the British Museum and have a talk about good practice in guiding by Kusuma Barnett, who was Head of Volunteering at the British Museum for many years and was awarded an MBE for her services to Museums in 2006.There are 20 places on Kusuma’s tour.

This leaves 13 seats in the coach for anyone else who might be interested in a trip to the British Museum. These seats are being offered at £5 each. Payable in cash on the day, or in advance.

The coach will leave from the Boating Lake on Hastings seafront (near the swan pedalos) at 10am sharp. We will return to the same place at 6pm.

Please bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch and tea.
