A new exhibition of work from 12 photographers opens this Friday at Hastings Arts Forum.
We are all members of the Photo hub group under the mentorship of Grace Lau, as part of a collaborative initiative between the Photo hub group and the Media Enterprise Centre supported by Hastings Borough Council and the University of Brighton. The show will have new work by new and existing members of Phg - Lin Gregory, Emma Bryant, Nicole Zaaroura, Sue Barnes, Julia Humphreys, Charles Coussens, Lucy Phillips, Petra Lander, Mike Lank, Annette Barton, Barry Reid and Rose Biela.
Following on from the successes of the Brighton Photo Fringe Hastings event in October 2010, this is the first of a series of photographic happenings in 2011 with a view towards developing projects for the photo biennial 2012.
The private view is this Friday, 15th April from 6pm to 9pm. The exhibition runs until 26th April.
