Next Wednesday - Oct 5th

It's a group day - and the UoB and SCCH are holding more freshers events - there will also be a meeting in the studio at 2pm with David Fowler to talk about the value of being an H.E. student and what the college offers - it's for everyone, so don't be late.

I'm not going to book staff for this day, too many distractions - you will all have work to do independently and I will be there all day for both years - along with the following events.

Sussex Coast College Hastings Freshers’ Fair

Wednesday 5 October from 11am – 1.30pm – Station Plaza, Atrium

A mini version of the freshers fair at Brighton racecourse

Sussex Coast College Hastings Student Social BBQ with FE students

Wednesday 5 October from 12pm-4pm – Station Plaza, Dine

This is an opportunity to meet students from across the college and enjoy some free food.

Wednesday 5 October 6.30pm-9pm (ish)

A welcome talk from the SU officers based at Brighton, Lydia Leonard (College Youth Worker) will also be present to ask students for their input on what events that would like to happen over the next year. This is an opportunity to meet new HE students and find out ways to get involved in uni life.

I think there are also drinks organised at the Brass Monkey - if you like that sort of thing.
