David McG. sent me a link to some of the winners, to be frank - I think they are really weak - and there is NOTHING here we didn't cover - there are very clear elements of work by Robert, Leah, Tom and David in here - it just shows how 'on message' we really were. The only thing I like is the presentation of the 'newspaper' books - nice gradient background to black and the text material laid over the top - books themselves underwhelming. The torn and curled paper version is very 'student' and we went for professional.
Guys, I think you did much better than this - and I'm not just saying that.

one on there is like the shit bastard child of mine and rob's. like if sienna miller and ryan reynolds had a child and it came out looking like sarah jessica-parker.

There is some quite bad design on display - the Oaty snack thing, with the black and the patterns, has some really pointless twiddly typo and is actually quite ugly. You just wouldn't pick t up off the shelf, and it suggests that the contents are burnt. Would make nice shoe polish packaging.
