From next week - you will have access to Student Central, a dedicated HE Wiki that is in the process of going live now and two dedicated FDA Graphics blogs.
This blog will continue - just as it has through the year - and I'd like to continue the drive to being more newsy, accessible and social, you can email me anything that you want to include - and comment on any post.
in addtion - there will be a sister blog that will go live on Monday that is dedicated to supporting your day to day work - references and links that are directly relevant to the work you are doing will be scheduled to appear at the right time, so if there are books or iplayer links etc that are handy for a certain brief - they will be posted in conjunction. You will also be able to access information about the course, college, staff and coursework - so between the online services available - you get pretty much 24 hour, 365 days-a-year support. If you want to suggest anything - feel free to email me in the usual way, or just stop me and have a chat.
Last year there was an attempt to set up a facebook group that never really got off the ground, as most students found it easier to go through mine instead - I've pulled the plug on that - even I have to have a bit of a life - but I think I think it's a good idea for you to set up a facebook group for the FDA and use it for your own benefit - so that you all have some online space that does not have the shadow of me or the college looming over it, and you are all going to encouraged to have blogs and online storage this year - we have all these facilities - so please use them.
